We love running our annual holiday club at St. James’ Church and Staveley School, but this year, due to COVID-19, we have decided to take our holiday club online to keep everyone as safe as possible.
We will run Wonder Zone from Tuesday 24th- Friday 28th August on Zoom. The club will shorter than normal, 9.30- 11am, but will include all the usually fun activities, singing, bible story, games, craft and a virtual Pogo Challenge.
As usual we take the safeguarding of your children very seriously and only those with a Zoom password will be allowed into the club, we will have a waiting room so we know who we are letting in and the meting will be locked after a certain time. Our safeguarding lead will be present in the meeting, our child to adult ratios will be as normal. Guidance requires that young people are not in their bedrooms when they take part in holiday club and, ideally, there will be an appropriate adult in the vicinity.
If you would like your children to join in, please fill in the form below and email to post it back to us or drop it through the Vicarage door. You will receive confirmation of your booking and nearer the time you’ll receive an email with the zoom code and will get a pack, by post for hand delivered containing the craft items, worksheets, name badge and all you need to join in.
