At the end of each year our churches chooses a number of charities to support, a proportion of the churches' income is donated to each one.

Springfield House, Kendal
A safe place for women who are experiencing difficulties
and are in need of a supportive environment and a stepping stone toward
independent living.
Working for the benefit of the public in South Lakeland, providing advice,
advocacy and a drop-in support centre for those who are homeless,
vulnerably housed, lonely or needing help.
Working in schools in North West England to provide children and young people with knowledge and understanding of
the Christian faith.

Fighting poverty across the world by working in partnership with churches, individuals and local organisations in communities worldwide, supporting people of all faiths and none to rise out of poverty.
Running local projects, helping children and young people when they are at their most vulnerable, and have nowhere left to turn.
Citizens Advice South Lakes
Free,
confidential advice and help is available from South Lakes Citizens Advice on
any aspect of debt, consumer problems, benefits, housing, employment or any
other problems. We have various outlets across South Lakeland and can also give
advice over the phone.
St John's Hospice - has been providing palliative care for a wide range of life shortening conditions in North Lancashire and South Lakes since 1986.
WaterAid UK - Change lives with clean water. Together we can make the best human rights of clean water, decent toilets, and good hygiene normal for everyone, everywhere.
The North West Air Ambulance Charity takes advance healthcare to scene; reaching , treating and transferring patients to definitive care as quickly as possible and working with their partners to ensure patients are transferred to the best treatment centre, improving the chancers of survival and reducing the risk of long-term injury.
