Our Services
After
careful and prayerful consideration the PCCs of each church have made
the following arrangements for worship in our churches over the next few
weeks.
There will be no service in the following churches until further notice:
St. James’ Staveley
St. Martin’s Bowness
St. Cuthbert’s Kentmere
Jesus Church Troutbeck
There will be an online Zoom service live-streamed onto Facebook and the homepage of this website at 11.00 a.m.
Please contact us for the zoom codes
Sunday 10th January - St. Anne's Ings - Holy Communion 11am
Sunday 17th January - St. Anne's Ings - Morning Service 11am
St. Mary's Windermere - Morning Service 11am
We will keep this all under continual review in case of changing
circumstances, but in any event we will review the situation in the week
beginning 7th February so as to be able (we hope) to announce by Sunday
14th February what will be happening in the following week (which
includes Ash Wednesday).
Please can we request
that if your regular church is not open you don’t swap to one of the
others that is open, otherwise we risk an overload of numbers.
Bishop
James said in his letter to clergy that we "should not feel
pressurised to open church buildings at this time if you feel a safer
option would be to offer digital and online services.” By the same
token, if you are personally concerned about the risks involved, you should not feel under any pressure to attend your usual church just because it is open.
Please note the wearing of face coverings for worship is mandatory.
Please be aware that due to COVID-19 restrictions we can only accommodate a reduced number of worshippers at one time.
Please do not be offended if we cannot admit you to the service.
If you are planning to attend please contact
