Following a review of guidance, and there having been no change, our churches will be maintaining their current pattern, as above, for the time being.
Please can we request
that if your regular church is not open you don’t swap to one of the
others that is open, otherwise we risk an overload of numbers.
James said in his letter to clergy that we "should not feel pressurized to open church buildings at this time if you feel a safer
option would be to offer digital and online services.” By the same
token, if you are personally concerned about the risks involved, you should not feel under any pressure to attend your usual church just because it is open.
Please note the wearing of face coverings for worship is mandatory.
Please be aware that due to COVID-19 restrictions we can only accommodate a reduced number of worshippers at one time.
Please do not be offended if we cannot admit you to the service.
If you are planning to attend please contact Revd Shanthi Thompson 01539 821267 or Revd James Richards 015394 43063
Some of our church buildings are now open for private prayer by arrangement.

Keep us, good Lord, under the shadow of your mercy
in this time of uncertainty and distress.
Sustain and support the anxious and fearful,
and lift up all who are brought low;
that we may rejoice in your comfort
knowing that nothing can separate us from your love
in Christ Jesus our Lord.
We are situated in the southern part of the beautiful Lake District National Park.
We are part of the Church of England and welcome people of all denominations and backgrounds to join us for worship, fellowship or to enjoy the peace and tranquillity of our church buildings.
We are one Church family seeking to grow as disciples of Jesus and offering opportunities for others to discover more of God's love for them and of his purposes for their lives.
