Our Benefice

Welcome to the Benefice of South Lakes, set within a beautiful and much-loved part of the Lake District. Our six churches serve a range of distinct communities, from rural villages to busy tourist areas. Each has its own character and history, yet we share a common commitment to worship God and serve our communities with generosity, hospitality, and hope.

We are a benefice seeking to grow in faith, deepen our life of prayer and worship, and share the love of Christ. Our churches are rooted in their communities, playing an active role through schools, community events, pastoral care and occasional offices. We offer a warm welcome to all, whether long-standing members, visitors and those connecting with the church at significant moments in their lives.
