Lent Appeal

Each year we hold a Lent Appeal. 

This year we are supporting Windermere Food Bank during Lent 
through money donations as well as continuing to accept gifts of 
food in church.
If you would like to make a money donation there will be a plate at the back of church during Lent.

The Foodbank is based in the cellar of Windermere Methodist Church.

There website says:

"We don’t think anyone in our community should have to face going hungry. That’s why we provide three days’ nutritionally balanced emergency food and support to local people who are referred to us in crisis. We are part of a nationwide network of foodbanks, supported by The Trussell Trust, working to combat poverty and hunger across the UK."

Donations of food can, ordinarily be brought to St. Mary's or left at Windermere Methodist Church.
