Reopening Churches for Private Prayer
We appreciate that, while we can pray anywhere, coming before God in prayer in a special place is important. Our buildings are often places where we feel close to God and to our church family. According to the guidance of the Government, the Church of England and our Diocese we can now open our buildings for private prayer by arrangement. This will be possible from Sunday 21st June 2020.
If you would like to access one of our church buildings for a time private prayer please contact the clergy. We will arrange for the building to opened for you at a specific time. Please note access can only be granted for individuals or members of the same household or bubble. Access cannot be granted on a Sunday morning at the time we would normally hold a service and we can offer to lead you in prayer. Social distancing and hand hygiene must be observed when entering the church buildings.
